Convicted Rapist Sentenced To 60 Years

A Valley Springs man has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for rape, sexual contact with a child and indecent exposure involving a child.

Kevin Buchholtz was found guilty of the charges on August 24, 2012. A now 7-year old child testified during the trial that the events took place in June 2011 at a trailer court in Valley Springs.

Buchholtz, who is 57-years-old, was facing up to life in prison.
