Update: Arrest Made In SF Homicide Case

Sioux Falls Police have made an arrest in the city's first homicide case of 2013.

Sioux Falls Police Chief Doug Barthel says Robert Bass III was arrested Tuesday night.

Bass is accused of murdering Cresencio Conde-Vargas with a baseball bat over the weekend. Minnehaha County State's Attorney Aaron McGowan says Bass, who is 22-years-old and from Sioux Falls, has been charged with second-degree murder.

Authorities say alcohol was involved.

Bass is expected to be in court Wednesday afternoon. Bond has been set at $1 million.
