Seniors Logan and Presley O'Farrell have opposing coaches and Class 'B' teams seeing double.
Logan O'Farrell said, "It's not like we can read each other but we have played together so long that if one cuts to the basket, we know where the other one is going to go, that's just how we have always played it."
With Logan averaging 20 and Presley 13 points a game, the 6-foot twin-tower guards are a force on the hardwood and are capable of playing any position on the court.
Summit Coach Mark Amdahl said, "With our type of motion offense, they are able to take the ball to the rim, spread the defense to shoot the 3 or post up. I let them use their basketball instincts and do alot of things on their own."
With a pair of State 'B' championships under their belts, the girls look to continue the tradition for another season.
"We just prepare for each game and look ahead of us, we don't look above or beyond anybody. We say one game at a time, one practice at a time," said Presley O'Farrell.
It's not just other teams they'll be competing against, they're always searching for ways to better one another.
Logan O'Farrell says, "In practices we know each other's weaknesses. We know what to target when we are guarding each other to just make that one better."
This isn't the last you will see of them. Both girls signed to play basketball with Augustana this fall. Though as easy as it may be, the two say they aren't tempted to switch jerseys.
Presley O'Farrell, "Oh yeah, we wouldn't do that."
Taking double trouble to a whole new level.
