Stampede Look To Stay Hot On Road

The Stampede face the Green Bay Gamblers for the first of three times this season. The Herd enter tonight on a 9-game winning streak and have won 12 of their last 13 games while the Gamblers have won 10 straight games at home and are 6-2 since the winter break. 

·         The Herd have won three straight on the road and are 2-0-0 on this current nine-game road trip. They are 8-4-1 on the road and 8-2-1 since starting the season 0-2-0. 

·         Sioux Falls enters tonight’s contest with a 4-1-0 mark against Eastern Conference teams this season.

·         Stampede fell 5-2 to Green Bay in Sioux Falls in their only meeting last season.

·         Stampede are 4-0-1 in their last five games in Green Bay, dating back to the 2008-09 season.

·         Forward C.J. Franklin committed to Minnesota State-Mankato and defenseman Preston Hodge committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha this week. 

·         Charlie Lindgren was named USHL Goaltender of the Week after posting three wins last weekend and now ranks third in the USHL with a 2.38 GAA. His 18 wins are tops amongst all USHL goaltenders.
