Four Arrested After Mitchell Fight

A fight over who owned a dog in Mitchell, South Dakota led to the arrest of four individuals.

Ryan Geske, 21, was arrested on January 19th for aggravated assault charges after allegedly striking an adult make in the head with either a metal or steel pipe. Jared Nespor, 24, Taylor Hall, 18, and Kevin Hanson, 19 went to the residence with Geske and are charged with Misprison of a Felony. A fifth individual, who is a juvenile male, will also be petitioned into court for charges stemming from the incident.

The individuals went to the residence to confront another individual over an issue relating to the ownership of a dog.

If convicted, Geske faces 15 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $30,000. The others could face one year in jail and/or a fine of up to $2000.
