A jury has acquitted a Belle Fourche man accused of three sex crimes.
Forty-nine-year-old Raymond Henson was acquitted of first-degree rape, sexual contact with a child younger than 13 and aggravated incest.
The jury deliberated for seven hours Friday before handing down the verdict.
Prosecutors alleged that Henson had illegal sexual contact with an elementary-school-age child before 2010.
The trial included testimony from the alleged victim, forensic experts, a doctor and nurse practitioner, a psychologist, members of Henson's family and the alleged victim's mother. Henson also testified on his own behalf late Thursday afternoon.
