Augustana Brings "American Idol" Winner to SF

Augustana will host "American Idol" winner and top-10 Billboard Hot 100 artist Phillip Phillips on Tuesday, March 19, at the Washington Pavilion. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the event, organized by the UBG Big Event Committee.
Tickets for the public are $26 and will be available beginning Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Washington Pavilion Box Office.
The Augustana Big Event planning committee works each year to bring a big-name musical artist to Augustana’s campus. Past Big Event artists include: Ben Folds, O.A.R., Widespread Panic, Third Day, Raining Jane, Goo Goo Dolls, and Sara Bareilles. This spring, Augustana will also present internationally known hip-hop artists Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with Soulcrate on Friday, April 5, a concert event that is now sold out.
