Large Amount of Marijuana, Guns Seized

A large amount of high-grade marijuana was seized in Watertown on Monday.
The South Dakota DCI and the Watertown Police department used a warrant to search a residence at 316 6th St. SE. The search turned up a large amount of high-grade marijuana, cash and guns.
35-year-old Adam Wolkow of Watertown was arrested for Possession of Marijuana 1-10lbs and Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute 1-10lbs.
Wolkow is being held on a 10-thousand dollar bond at the Codington County Detention Center.
Wolkow is facing charges of Possession of Marijuana 1-10lbs is a class 4 felony which is punishable by a maximum of 10 years in the State Penitentiary and/or a $20,000 fine and Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute 1-10lbs is a class 3 felony which is punishable by a maximum of 15 years in the State Penitentiary and/or a $30,000 fine.
