Snowfox swimming invaded the YWCA, a ridiculous dunk at the dome and some dazzling moves on the hardcourt...all in this edition of your Scheels Plays of the Week.
We'll start off our countdown in Hawaii for the NFL Pro Bowl. Minnesota's Kyle Rudolph had five catches for 122 yards and a touchdown. The Viking was named MVP in his first Pro Bowl.
Number four takes us to Lincoln High School where hustle was the name of the game. Pat's Adam Jaros retrieved a loose ball, Nermin Krdzalic pushed it to the front court and then passed to Caleb Rector for the easy 2. Lincoln defeated Washington 55 to 36.
Continuing on with more High School Boys Basketball at number three. Watertown's Tanner Heiser with the bulls-eye pass to Brody Ries, completing the fast break. Roosevelt defeated the Arrows 75 to 60.
Coming in at number two is the Snowfox Snow Team's Winter Classic. Aberdeen's Hannah Kastigar battled it out with the boys in the 200 IM for the 17-and-up division, finishing second with a time of 2:06:02. She competed at the 2012 Olympic Trials.
And finally, at number one, is USD's Steve Tecker. Trevor Gruis missed but, Tecker went across the lane, grabbed the rebound with one hand and slammed it home for 2 of his 14 points. The Coyotes fell short to Nebraska Omaha 95 to 90...and those are your Scheels Plays of the Week.
