Sioux Falls Arts Weekend Happening In May

Bookmark and Share

The Washington Pavilion and the Sculpture Walk in Sioux Falls have teamed up to host the largest arts weekend in South Dakota.

Arts weekend is planned to kick off May 4th and will include a sculpture exposition and sale along with the region's largest art auction.

The sculpture sale will feature nearly 300 sculptures from 49 artists across the United States, along with an artist from Belgium.

Installation of dozens of new sculptures downtown will also take place during the weekend.

"It's so unique. It adds artistic pizzazz to downtown. It's quality of life iconic development. It gives everyone something fun to do every day during the year," said Jim Clark, Sculpture Walk Director.

This arts event is free to the public and sculpture seminars by national and international sculptors will be featured throughout the weekend
