SF Man Accused Of 2nd Degree Rape

A 20 year old Sioux Falls man is facing a second degree rape charge. Cooper Dean Eagle star was arrested early Thursday morning after a 34 year old woman told officers she awoke and found her pants removed. The victim says that Eagle Star was in her bedroom when she woke up. Eagle Star left the residence and officers found him at the 400 block of North Prairie Ave.
Police say that everyone in the house had been drinking earlier that evening.
Second degree rape charges carry a penalty of up to 25 years in prison and/or a $25,000 fine.
