Young, Miller lead Mitchell past Aberdeen

Bookmark and Share

The Mitchell girls jumped out to an 18-9 lead after one quarter and they rolled past Aberdeen 57-35 in a battle of #1 vs. #2 at the Corn Palace Friday night. Sami Knecht had a dozen to lead the previously unbeaten Golden Eagles, but the dynamic duo from Mitchell was too much for Aberdeen as they combined for 44 of the Kernels 57 points. Keri Young had 24 and Macy Miller 20 for Wes Morgan's team that had lost in Aberdeen 63-55.
