Updated Snow & Rain Totals

Bookmark and Share

Beginning Saturday night, many of us began receiving heavy snowfall while the rest of us across the southeast saw mostly rainfall. That rainfall briefly transitioned to sleet and snow before transitioning back to rainfall a few different times through the Sunday morning hours.

At this point, most of the snowfall has tapered off, but winds are now blowing that snowfall around, reducing visibilities across most of the region.

Here’s a quick look at our updated snowfall totals. Many locations across the north and east have already picked up well over a foot of snowfall while many haven’t even seen an inch in the south.

The rest of us who haven’t received much snowfall, but mostly just rainfall, have still picked up a nice amount of rainfall to add to our deficit in moisture. Here’s an update as to how much liquid moisture we have picked up across the region. Keep in mind some of this fell in the form of snowfall across the north.

As always, we will keep you updated with the very latest as blizzard conditions continue across parts of our region.
