Final Storm Snow Totals

The final snow totals are in and they are impressive in many areas of the north. Locally 2 feet of snow fell in the northeast with a widespread area that received 8-16 inches. Even though the moisture isn’t enough to completely eradicate the drought, it is enough in some areas to put at least a dent into the drought and will keep moisture on the ground for the next few weeks barring any huge warm up. Here is a look at the snow totals from across the area. Your backyard totals will vary from these because snowfall can vary drastically over short distances, but this will give you an idea of what the area experienced. For a little bit different view of the snowfall, an aerial map is located just below to show you a map of the overall totals from across our area. |
