Dynamic Deuel duo readies for "A" gymnastics

Bookmark and Share

Deuel is the heavy favorite to make it 3 straight "A" gymnastics titles Friday in Rapid City. But the individual competition Saturday is where teammates Sam Wiekamp and Meaghan Sievers will probably battle it out for the title. Wiekamp who is a senior, has won a state record 18 titles in her time at Deuel. But she and Sievers are always neck and neck for all-around honors in dual meets. They make an incredible 1-2 punch for Lynn Gudmanson which is why they will be so tough to beat on Friday.
