The Sioux Falls Storm will defend their IFL championship without one of the greatest players in league history.
MVP Chris Dixon left for the Arena League in the offseason. The Storm are turning over the reigns to former Omaha quarterback and Southern Mississippi alum Martevious Young. A mobile quarterback, Young says he doesn't feel any extra pressure in replacing the best player the league has ever seen.
"I wouldn't say because I've got alot of guys accepting me in. It's a new team and we're goijg in a new direction so we're focusing on what we've got now---kinda building to win a championship this year so they've let the past go and accepted us and other young guys who came here. So we're just kinda working, getting better each day and preparing ourselves to win each week." Young said.
