Around 6:30 Sunday night the Sioux Falls Police Department was contacted about suspicious items by an individual walking their dog at Family Park at 300 N. Ellis Road.
Officers responded and found a meth lab dumpsite in the northeast area of the park.
The dumpsite included Hydrogen Chloride Gas Generator and other items used to manufacture methamphetamine.
The Sioux Falls Police Department, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue and Hazmat were cleaning up the site and looking for evidence to connect the items to a suspect.
Anyone with information about who may have dumped the items at the park is asked to call the police department or contact Crimestoppers.
