No one was hurt after a train struck two cars near 14th Street and Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls this morning.
Two trains were crossing the intersection at the same time. One train was blocking a portion of traffic heading northbound on Cliff Avenue and the other was traveling at a low speed heading east.
The crossing signals were lit up but an engineer waved some cars to cross anyway. Traffic on the south side of the crossing forced a pair of cars to stop on the tracks where they were hit.
Both cars were able to drive away from the scene.
