Rapid City Car Crash Sends Three To The Hospital

An accident in Rapid City early Sunday morning left a Ford Taurus ripped in two and its three occupants heading to the hospital.
Police say the Taurus hit three parked cars, and then hit a tree with enough force to tear the car in two. Police say when officers arrived, the car's front bumper was touching its rear bumper.
Three people were trapped in the front seat and had to be removed from the car. They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say the driver, 19–year old Corina Sitting Bear of Rapid City was charged with DUI, reckless driving, vehicular battery, driving with a suspended license and minor consuming.
One passenger, 18–year old Wakinyan Blindman of Rapid City was charged with minor consuming.
Another passenger, a 15–year old girl, was charged with minor consuming.
Both Sitting Bear and Blindman were listed in fair condition Monday afternoon.
