SIOUX CENTER, IA -- A Trevor Walterstorff block in the final seconds of regulation helped the Dordt Defenders preserve a 69-68 win over Midland in the GPAC Semifinals.
Dordt led 40-30 at half and never trailed in the second half but saw their lead trimmed to a point on several occasions. After a missed free throw by Dordt, Midland's James Parrott was blocked attempting a game winning jumper by Walterstorff.
Wolterstorff and Jordan Vogel each scored 17 to lead the Defenders. Parrott had a game-high 26.
Dordt (25-6) will host the GPAC Tournament Championship on Tuesday against Morningside at 7 PM.
