Augie & NSU To Host NSIC Tourney Games

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. --  The Northern Sun Conference men's and women's basketball tournaments are set and two area schools will host opening round games.

Augustana and Northern State will host first round doubleheaders on Wednesday.  The Augie women play play Minot State at 6 PM followed by the Viking men's game against Minnesota-Duluth.

The Northern State women will tip at the same time against Wayne State followed by the men's game against Sioux Falls. 

Should both the Augie and NSU men advance they would meet in the Quarterfinals on Saturday in Aberdeen.

Below is the list of seeds opening round games in both tournaments.  All opening round games will be played on Wednesday.  Winners advance to play the high seed in Saturday's Quarterfinal round.

South #5 SMSU @ North #4 MSU-Moorhead, 8 PM

South #7 Sioux Falls @ North #2 Northern State, 8 PM
