Skyforce make 2 trades

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Feb. 25, 2013) – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired guard Andre Barrett from the Maine Red Claws in exchange for guard Mark Tyndale.
Barrett averaged 7.5 points and 7.6 assists in 17 games (10 starts) with Maine this season. He holds NBA career averages of 3.3 points and 2.0 assists in 67 games with six teams. The 5-11, 175-pound guard has NBA Development League career averages of 16.6 points and 7.5 assists in 119 games (112 starts) with five teams. His best season came in 2007-08 when he averaged 18.4 points and 8.7 assists while shooting 43.9 percent from the 3-point line (54-of-123) in 43 games with the Austin Toros (13) and Bakersfield Jam (30).
Sioux Falls, S.D. (Feb. 25, 2013) – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired guard/forward Seth Tarver from the Idaho Stampede as part of a four-team trade. The Austin Toros receive a third round pick in the 2013 NBA Development League Draft from Sioux Falls, the Canton Charge receives Kyle Weaver from Austin and Idaho receives JaJuan Johnson from Canton and Mustapha Farrakhan from Sioux Falls to complete the trade.
Tarver averaged 7.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in 30 games with Idaho this season. He holds NBA Development League career averages of 9.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in 124 games (73 starts) with the Stampede. The 6-5, 215-pound guard/forward averaged 7.7 points and 4.2 rebounds in four seasons (128 games) at Oregon State University. He was named Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year after averaging 10.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.2 steals in 32 games (all starts) his senior season.
