Buzzer Beater Leads Tea Boys Past Harrisburg

Bookmark and Share

TEA, S.D. --  Tarrin Smallfield's layup as time expired gave the Tea Area Titans a wild 45-43 win over Harrisburg in the first round of the District 7A playoffs.

Despite beating Harrisburg 75-41 on January 26th, Tea needed a Riley Knutson save and steal to keep the Tigers from getting a chance to win the game.  After a timeout with nine seconds left the Titans worked the ball inside to Smallfield, whose layup dropped in as the buzzer sounded.

Tea plays Lennox for the title on Saturday.
