Members Of Vollmer Family Laid To Rest

Six days after a fatal car crash on I-90, four members of the Vollmer have been laid to rest.
The funeral for James, Julie, Alyssa, and Caleb Vollmer took place at Sioux Falls Christian High School, where hundreds of people attended.
The procession lead by four hearses made their way north from the school to the Woodlawn Cemetery near Cliff Avenue and 26th Street. Along the way restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores showed their support for Brittany Vollmer.
The route went past Lincoln High School, where the entire school paid their respects to the family by lining the sidewalks outside the school.
James was 52-years-old, Julie was 48-years-old, Alyssa was 16-year-old, and Caleb was 13-years-old.
