SF Woman Scammed Out Of Over $2,000

A Sioux Falls woman was scammed out of more than $2,000.
According to police, on Friday someone called the 75-year-old woman claiming to be her son. He told her he had been in an accident in Granada and needed money.
According to police the woman sent a money-gram. Police say the scammer tried again the next day.
Then the woman sent a second money gram on Saturday.
She then called her son, and they realized she had been scammed.
Police say the woman sent about $2,300 overseas, and will never be able to get it back.
