Authorities Searching For Rape Suspect

The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office is searching for an elderly man charged with raping a child.

Authorities say Albert Wayne Armentrout, who is 60-years-old is wanted for first degree rape. The charges stem from a Sioux Falls Police Department case involving an 8-year-old.

The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help in locating him. They say Albert is his first name, but he also uses Wayne.

Albert is 6’1” and weighs around 200lbs. He has brown eyes and grey hair. If you have any information on his location, please contact the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office, Sioux Falls Police Dept. or Crime Stoppers.
