With the construction of the Denny T Sanford Premiere Center, a lack of parking has been a cause for concern for the Sioux Falls Arena and Convention Center.
With the Summit League tournament and Home Show in town, parking spaces will be at a premium.
KDLT's Jeff Rusack went in search for the worst recommended parking spot for this weekend’s activities.
Terrace Park is one of the furthest locations to park. We're going to see just how long it takes to get from there to the Sioux Falls Arena and Convention Center.
We just got out of Terrace Park and we're on Madison Avenue now. Keep in mind, it's supposed to be raining this weekend in Sioux Falls.
We're not even halfway. I would guess we're probably looking at about a half a mile.
For some parking lots you're going to have quite the walk but for others they'll be shuttles provided.
We're at just about a half-mile right now. It certainly isn't the longest walk but if you're coming tomorrow or anytime this weekend, make sure you get there a little early.
The total is 3,924 feet. That's how long you should plan on walking if you are coming from one of the furthest parking lots.
That's about a 1 and a half mile or a thirty minute round trip.
