SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- When the NSIC Tournament moves to the Sanford Pentagon next season, Augustana will basically have homecourt advantage if they make a deep run.
But this year both the Viking men and women are in Rochester for their semifinal showdowns.
The Augustana men tip off with MSU-Mankato at 7:30.
Mankato has the best record in the NSIC at 24-and-four overall and 18-and-four in league play.
The Vikings come in on a roll after a 16-point win at rival Northern State in the quarterfinals. Augie split with MSU, winning in Mankato and falling at home.
"They're a great team man. They're really physical, they've got a lot of older guys on their team too and they're a tough team. We split with them this year, we beat them in over time at their place and they beat us at our place. It's going to be a great game." Senior Cam McCaffery says.
"I think it's just stick to what we've been doing all year long, not trying to do too much, but just be physical, and embrace the challenge." Freshman Zach Huisken says.
