Fire In Valley Springs Destroys Home

A Valley Springs family is left homeless Saturday, after a fire destroyed their home.

According to the Minnehaha County Sheriff's department fire crews were called to a home on 484th avenue in Valley Springs, just after 12 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies said when crews arrived there were flames coming out of a garage.

The fire eventually spread throughout the entire home.

Officials said all four occupants got out unharmed, but they believe some pets were still inside.

Deputies said the home is a complete loss and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
