Police are asking for the public’s help in locating two individuals accused of stealing two vehicles.
Around 1am Monday morning, residents in Garretson, South Dakota reported hearing tires squealing.
Officers say that a white Cadillac, driven by a white male in his 20’s, hit mailboxes, buildings and other vehicles before a tire fell off.
Both the driver and a passenger fled from the vehicle and are still at large.
There are numerous hit and run reports around Garretson including one where the individuals drove through the doors of a car wash.
Officers also recovered a Chevrolet Suburban that was previously reported stolen in Sioux Falls. The two vehicle thefts are thought to be related.
