DeJong named NAIA Player of the Year

Kendra De Jong (Hospers, Iowa) was named the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Player of the year as announced by the national office earlier today. De Jong joins former Red Raiders, Rachel Binneboese (2000, 2001), Deb Remmerde-Lesuink (2006, 2008) and Becca (Hurley) Kramer (2011) as earning the top honor. De Jong was named an All-American for the third straight year and was also named to the national tournament all-tournament team
