A Huron hospital has lifted visitor restrictions that were put into place more than six weeks ago because of widespread respiratory flu cases.
The Huron Regional Medical Center began limiting visitors on Jan. 30. The hospital had required guests to be over 12 years old, in good health and free of respiratory and stomach flu symptoms.
Hospital spokeswoman Janice Farrar says that even though the restrictions are lifted, visitors should still consider that rest is important for patients.
