Bruce Man Dies In Two-Car Crash

A Bruce man died in a two-vehicle crash at 204th Street and 464th Avenue two miles west of Bruce on Saturday, March 16.
Kenneth M. Bickley, 62, was driving a 2000 GMC Jimmy south on 464th Avenue. He failed to stop at the stop sign and entered the intersection, where his vehicle was struck by a 1999 Ford Sport being driven east on 204th Street by Donald Floyd Krumm, 70, of Bruce.
Bickley, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from his vehicle and suffered fatal injuries.
Krumm and a passenger, Joyce Eileen Krumm, 68, of Bruce, were wearing seatbelts. Donald Krumm was not injured. Joyce Krumm was taken to a Brookings hospital with minor injuries.
No further information is immediately available.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating. Brookings County Sheriff’s Office, Brookings Ambulance, Bruce Fire Department and Estelline Ambulance assisted.
