White River's Dynasty Continues

Bookmark and Share

ABERDEEN, S.D.  --  All the White River Tigers do is win state championships.  They did it again last night in Aberdeen.

Their 63-51 win over Viborg/Hurley last night is the program's fourth state championship in the last six seasons.

But it was the first back-to-back championship in that span.  It's just one more notch in this Tiger dynasty's belt.

"Everybody was a contributor.  3 out of the last 4, that's not bad.  I don't know if it's been done any time in recent memory but I know this team will be remembered for a long time and rightly so."  Nic Waln says.

"It's the love of the team that they show to each other.  There's so much chemistry between all the teams, specifically this team this year, we've been playing together ever since second grade.  So, you know, it was awesome."  Wyatt Krogman says.
