Summit League women's basketball champion South Dakota State will face South Carolina in Boulder, Colorado on Saturday in the opening round of the NCAA tournament.
Jackrabbits coach Aaron Johnston says South Carolina is a strong, athletic and physical team that puts a lot of pressure on opponents and causes turnovers.
But Johnston says he's happy the game will be played at a neutral site that's reasonably close to home.
South Dakota State earned an automatic bid to the tournament by defeating University of South Dakota 56-53 in the conference title game.
The Jackrabbits are making their fifth straight trip to the NCAAs, losing last year in the first round to
Purdue 83-68.
South Carolina earned an at-large bid after losing to No. 19 Texas A&M 61-52 in the Southeastern Conference tournament quarterfinals.
