Augie makes first-ever Elite 8

TOPEKA, KS --  Alex Feeney drained 2 FT's with :0.7 left and the Augustana Vikings advanced to their first ever Elite 8 Monday night with a dramatic 75-74 win over Emporia State. Feeney, the tournament MVP scored 24 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to lead the way, making 8 of 8 FT's in the process. Senior Cami Koehn came off the bech to hit a trio of 3's and score 15 as the Vikings improved to 27-6.

They will play next a week from Tuesday on March 26th at 11 am in San Antonio. Dave Krauth has won 492 games against 215 losses, but this is the first time his team has ever advanced this far.
