Funds have been set up at Wells Fargo bank branches to help the families of two people who drowned in the Big Sioux River in Sioux Falls late last week.
Twenty-eight-year-old Lyle Eagle Tail, of Sioux Falls, and 16-year-old Madison Wallace, of Vermillion, died trying to rescue Wallace's 6-year-old brother Garrett, who had fallen into the water in Falls Park but eventually got out.
A memorial service for Madison Wallace was scheduled in Vermillion on Tuesday night.
