A physician assistant who has served the community of Lennox for more than 35 years is retiring.
Scott Rogers - known around town as "Doc" Rogers - moved to Lennox in 1977 to help open up the town's clinic, now known as Sanford Clinic Lennox.
Rogers says that that for the first 20 years or so, most of his work came in the form of house calls. He says house calls also involved sitting down and chatting with patients over a cup of coffee.
Rogers says he'll miss the patients and staff but he's also looking forward to retirement. His last day is Friday.
Pam Stewart, the practitioner taking over Rogers' clinic, says she knows she has some big shoes to fill.
