An arrest warrant has been issued for Rhiannon White, the 34-year-old woman who was arrested on drug and child abuse charges following a house fire that killed her three children.
White did not appear in court on Thursday. She is facing six counts of contributing to the abuse or neglect of a child.
Tom Hensley, with the Minnehaha County State's Attorney's Office, says a bondsman took White to jail over the weekend because the bondsman believes she is a flight risk and is using drugs again.
Hensley says it appears from her booking photo that she is not taking care of herself and could be a danger to herself or others.
White was released from jail after posting bond from another bondsman.
Prosecutors asked the judge for the warrant stating they believe she is a danger to herself and is a flight risk.
A judge set White's bond at $30,000 and issued a bench warrant for her arrest.
The child abuse charges stem from a December 22 house fire that took the lives of White's three children, 16-year-old Michael Hensley, 12-year-old Savannah Coon, and 6-year-old Alivia Coon.
Officials could not confirm the cause of the fire because the damage was so extensive.
White also faces two charges of possession of a controlled substance. She has pleaded not guilty to the drug charges.
