Officials say a South Dakota man accused of murdering a woman in Chicago is expected to be transferred to Illinois next week.
Twenty-nine-year-old Daniel Neasom was arrested in Aberdeen in January. He remains behind bars at the Brown County Jail.
Neasom recently signed paperwork clearing the way for his extradition.
Neasom is accused of pushing his girlfriend, Cynthia Barnes, out the window of his third-floor apartment in Chicago after an argument in July 2011.
Court documents show he moved to Chicago to live with a family member.
