Class A Splits At High Scoring 3-Class Shootout

SALEM, S.D. --  There were no shortage of points in the 3-Class Boy's Basketball Shootout.

The Class A boys won the first game in overtime over Class B 121-106.  Milbank's (Class A) Isaac Lindquist led all scorers with 23 points while SDSU-bound Skyler Flatten from Clark/Willow Lake added 18 points.  Class B's Andrew Hora (Viborg/Hurley) was named MVP, scoring 19 and grabbing 8 rebounds.

Class AA won a thrilling nightcap, defeating Class A 119-116.  Pierre's Lane Severyn (Class AA), who earlier won the dunk contest, was named game MVP with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists.  Flatten, who will join Severyn at South Dakota State next season, led Class A and all scorers with 25 points.
