Gov. Dennis Daugaard and a group of South Dakota business and agriculture leaders are heading out on a trade mission to China.
Daugaard says South Dakota companies have immense growth potential in the Chinese market, and he's hoping to continue developing relationships formed during last year's trade mission.
Representatives from 15 business and agricultural groups will join Daugaard on the trip that begins Friday and runs through April 12. It's made possible by a State Trade and Export Promotion grant awarded to South Dakota by the Small Business Administration.
The delegation will travel to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong for meetings to discuss exporting their products and commodities.
Klock Werks' Brian Klock says most people don't realize that companies of all sizes are capable of selling their products worldwide.
