Man Involved In SF Standoff Faces Multiple Charges

We're learning more about the robbery and standoff that took place at a Sioux Falls convenience store on Saturday.
According to Police, 21-year-old Martine Moreno walked into the IU Convenience store on 3rd Street and Cliff Avenue at around 1 p.m.
Armed with a loaded 22 caliber handgun, he demanded money from the owner. When the owner said he didn't have any money he pointed the gun at three of the customers inside and demanded money from them.
At one point, Moreno hit the owner in the face with the gun.
One of the customers was able to leave the store and call 911 at the nearby laundry mat.
When police arrived, officers and a SWAT team were inside the store trying to get Moreno to put down the gun.
Moreno was arrested after a two hour standoff.
Moreno was arrested on a number of different charges including two counts of first degree robbery, four counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a loaded firearm while intoxicated.
