Miller Caps Solid Career for Red Raiders

Bookmark and Share

Ben Miller has been making plays for the Red Raiders for the past 4 years.

While he was the leader for the Northwestern team this year.. He says he's picked a few things up from coaches and players in the past.

Ben Miller says: "When I first came here I was challenged to make sure when I was a senior to make sure I left the team better than when got here. And that's what the guys did before me. And that's what I'm going to try to do for these guys."

And his coach says Miller has really taken charge and become a leader for this team.

Kris Korver says:"He's really done a nice job of grabbing the baton from some of the older guys. I just feel like we have a great group of seniors."

Miller averaged over 18 points and 8 rebounds and he credits his success to players from years past.

Ben says:"I've been here for 4 years and I've learned from the guys before me to kind of resemble what they did."

Despite falling to Dordt in the GPAC championship game and not making a run in the NAIA tournament,, Miller's coach feels this team is still a success.

Korber says:"They've been a joy to coach. I really appreciate these guys."

A basketball career over in Orange City.. But Ben Miller hopes he has paved the way for more Northwestern Success..
