City Asks To Keep Hydrants Clear

Bookmark and Share

The fallen trees and power lines are creating another possible danger.

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue is asking all residents to make sure fire hydrants are clear of snow and debris and are accessible.

Fire fighters have been fighting numerous fires in the past few days and they're having a hard time getting to hydrants.

The city wants you to pile all fallen branches between the curb and sidewalk but be sure you aren't piling everything around a fire hydrant.

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue wants you to be aware of where the fire hydrants are located in your neighborhood and work together to keep them accessible.
