The Hughes County manager says at least four people have applied for the county's vacant state's attorney position.
Max Gors resigned the job March 31 citing health reasons, and commissioners decided to advertise the position.
County Manager Kevin Hipple says that commissioners are expected to discuss the issue in executive session on Monday night.
Hipple says it is possible that the commissioners will select some applicants to interview.
Three of the four applicants are from Hughes County, and the other is from Faith.
Hipple says one other application has been taken out but has not yet been submitted.
