Saunders Expected to be Named Wolves President Friday

Former Skyforce coach Flip Saunders nis expected to be named Timberwolves President at a press conference Friday morning. Saunders coached the Wolves to their most successful seasons including a division title in 2003-2004. He would replace David Kahn who's contract was not renewed Thursday after his 4-year deal had run out. Saunders spent this past season as an in-studio host for NBA basketball on ESPN. The former Gopher star remains very popular in Sioux Fallsr where he helped turn the Skyforce program around.
