South Dakota farmers are being allowed to move over-wide fertilizer application vehicles on roads during nighttime hours through the rest of the month.
Gov. Dennis Daugaard has issued an executive order extending the hours of travel in response to the delayed spring planting season due to cold and snowy weather.
Over-wide vehicles must not exceed 12 feet in width and must be equipped with warning lights. The vehicles also are not allowed to exceed road weight limits.
