Storm Say Fans Make Arena Come Alive

Bookmark and Share

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- If they're going to erase the memory of one of the worst defeats in franchise history, the Sioux Falls Storm will have to continue one of the best home winning streaks in franchise history.

The Storm play the same Cedar Rapid Titan team that blasted them 52-18 two weeks ago.  In terms of margin of defeat it was the third worst defeat in Storm history.

But that game was in Cedar Rapids.  Tomorrow's game is at the Arena, where the Storm have won 30 straight, just six off the old record set in 2009.

With first place in the United Conference on the line, the Storm say the biggest difference tomorrow will be their fans.

"Just the fans.  You know, the one thing, we got some great fans and they just support us and give us that extra energy.  They are our 9th man."  Storm Quarterback Terrance Bryant says.

"There's only been 11 road teams that have won games this year.  So everyone's had a distinct advantage playing at home.  And I think our home advantage is probably the best that there is in the league."  Storm Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs says.

Tomorrow night's game with Cedar Rapids kicks off at 7:05 PM.
