A South Dakota woman has been sentenced to four years in federal prison for involuntary manslaughter.
Thirty-two-year-old Mary Jo Flammond, of St. Francis, pleaded guilty in a crash last September that killed a passenger in her vehicle. Authorities say she was driving drunk and lost control of the vehicle, which rolled.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Flammond must spend two years on supervised release following her prison term and must pay $7,160 in restitution.
